Fermented Fish Or Prahok
Prahok is a crucial ingredient to create some Khmer soup which is called Samla in Khmer language. Nearly every Khmer food need Prahok increase flavor. Prahok is made every year as an indispensable food for Cambodians it can be stored for years. Prahok is separated into two types is that meaty Prahok called Prahok Sach in Khmer language and bone Prahok called Prahok Chhroeng. Prahok Sach can be served directly with fresh vegetables after grilling or steaming while Prahok Chhroeng is usually used for cooking soup.
