Soup Keong Choeung Ko ( Beef Soup, Cow's heel)

Ingredients 

  1. 2kg of cow's heel 
  2. 500g letture
  3. 1 carrot, cut in chunk
  4. 1 onion, slice 
  5. 5-6 garlic cloves, burned and crashed 
  6. 2-3 slice of galangal, burned and crashed 
  7. 2 tubs soup Knorr 
  8. 1 tbsp fish sauce 
  9. 1 tbsp white sugar
  10. 1 tbsp salt
  11. 2 liters of water 
  12. Saw mint

Instruction 

  1. Clean cow's heel thoroughly and cut into big chunk then put in large pot
  2. Pour the water in and bring to boil over the medium high heat for around 3 hours, (Make sure cow's heel is tender)
  3.  Add lettuce, sliced onion, carrot and carry on boiling about 4-5 minutes then season with soup Knorr, fish sauce, salt, sugar, galangal and garlic
  4. Remove from heat and serve  immediately Yum! Yum!
